Training and Assessment

Training and Assessment Strategy (TAS)
The CEACA TAS for TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment has comprehensive and highly detailed course information, currency of training package, target learners, duration and amount of training including the breakdown of hours, pathways, entry requirements, support services students can expect, resource list as well as a course structure and delivery plan. 

Delivery and assessment modes
This course requires the satisfactory completion of oral and written tasks. 
Classroom based with components of assessment including written work, projects, portfolio, presentations, observations or combination of all. 
Flexible study arrangements. 

The presentations for BSBCMM401A Make a presentation require students to under 3x 40 minute presentations to an audience with a minimum of 8 in each audience. The 3x presentations will be a combination of 2x in-class and 1x external to an outside audience. 

Entry requirements
  • 18 years of age or above at time of enrolment
  • Prospective students must have a pre-enrolment interview and short assessment to determine the course suitability
  • Basic computer skills incorporating internet and Microsoft Word skills 
  • General command of spoken and written English, as well as the ability to write a simple report is required
  • Participants must be working in a full time or part-time capacity and have been delivering some kind of training within their own industry  
  • Flexible study requires computer with internet access, emails and Microsoft Word skills

2016 Course Fees

The current 2016 course fees are below *fees are subject to change in later years.

Fee for service $1,900

Payment Plan
CEACA provides a payment plan to participants for paying off their course fees during the duration of the course and/or year.
A mandatory $400 deposit must be paid on enrolment which is deducted from the total course fee. The remaining fees are then divided into three instalments for payment. 

There is no VET-FEE-HELP available for this course.     

Completing this certificate may impact a student wishing to undertake further government subsidised training.

TAELLN411 Address Adult Language Literacy and Numeracy Skills (LLN) 

This single unit of competency has been highlighted to become a core unit in the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment from 2015. To continue as a qualified trainer and assessor you must complete this unit

Why is language literacy and numeracy so important?

Everybody uses LLN skills every day for a variety of purposes - personal, social or work. Different tasks and contexts need different types of reading, writing, listening, speaking and numeracy skills, so people need to continually develop and adapt these skills to suit new situations

Course Outline
The course is designed to allow a trainer and assessor to develop the skills and knowledge to support the development of adult learners' language literacy and numeracy skills

Delivery
  • Two x 4 hour classes held with a month a part for enough time to complete assessment work
Entry requirements
  • Prospective students must have completed a pre-enrolment interview and short assessment to determine the course suitability
  • Basic computer skills incorporating internet and Microsoft Word skills 
  • Language, literacy and numeracy skills

Flat rate of $150.
