History Week is celebrated across Victoria.
Our History Week is an annual Shire-wide event held
to reinforce and recognise Murrindindi history and culture,
with supporters providing window displays, events, exhibitions and workshops.
24 – 31 October 2010
Get together and share some history
by creating, a display or organising
a fun event or activity during
History Week.
For example:
- walks through your town and cemetery
- opening of a heritage building
- ask a local or invite someone to speak at the Library
- display of photographs
- old fashioned dance
- picnic
-
for the children: colouring in drawings of local significant buildings,
bridges, trees, birds or their new playground equipment
